2023 @ Owl Cottage
2023 is shaping up to be an exciting year for the Magoebaskloof region and at Owl Cottage, we are thrilled to be a part of it all.

Another event that we are looking forward to is the Tzaneen Tuffy, a marathon that will take runners on a scenic journey through the picturesque countryside. This event is not just for experienced runners, there are also shorter distances available making it an event for the whole family.
For those who love to swim, the Ebenezer Mile is a must-do event. This mile-long swim takes place in the crystal clear waters of Ebenezer Dam and is a great way to challenge yourself while enjoying the beauty of the area.
The WIC, a memorial triathlon at Stanford Lake, is another event that we are excited about. This event includes a swim, bike, and run and promises to be a great day out for the whole family.
The Magoebaskloof Plunge, a marathon, is also another event that is not to be missed. This marathon takes runners through the beautiful Magoebaskloof valley, giving them a chance to experience the region's natural beauty at its finest.
But it's not just the sporting events that we are looking forward to, the arrival of the endangered Cape Green parrots is also something that we are excited about. These birds feast on the pecan nuts in the property, and it's always a treat to watch them fluttering around.
